Angela Opalak has joined as the Director of Client Success, and Curtis A. Mayse takes on the role of Vice President of Business Development and Strategy.
Angela Opalak: Director of Client Success
Angela Opalak brings over 25 years of healthcare industry expertise to the aiHealth team, with a focus on revenue cycle management and operational leadership. Throughout her dynamic career, Angela has consistently demonstrated exceptional strategic insight and a proven track record of optimizing financial performance and operational efficiency within the healthcare sector. Her extensive experience includes leading teams of dedicated professionals in developing and implementing strategies that streamline revenue cycles, enhance cash flow, and improve overall financial outcomes. Angela's keen understanding of healthcare billing and reimbursement complexities has enabled her to drive substantial improvements in revenue realization and coding compliance.
Before joining aiHealth, Angela held pivotal leadership roles with multiple healthcare organizations, including Tenet Healthcare, Envision/TeamHealth, and National Spine and Pain Consultants. At each of these institutions, she implemented transformative operational initiatives that yielded remarkable results. In addition to her corporate roles, Angela founded and led a successful third-party Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and healthcare consulting company.

Curtis A. Mayse: Vice President of Business Development and Strategy
Curtis A. Mayse, with over 30 years of extensive healthcare industry experience, has been appointed as Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at aiHealth. Curtis has held significant roles in healthcare management, consulting, and practice operations, making him a highly experienced and versatile professional. His impressive career includes direct management of orthopedic groups, large multi-specialty surgical groups, medical practices, and various healthcare organizations. Curtis has also provided consultation services nationally to medical groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and community hospitals, with a primary focus on creating profitable and sustainable practice operations.
Before joining aiHealth, Curtis served as a Healthcare Principal at CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP, and as a Senior Manager at ECG Management Consultants. Currently, he is affiliated with Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute.
Curtis holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Maryville University and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri. He is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and has been certified as a Professional Coder (CPC) by the AAPC. Curtis maintains membership in the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), American Association of Orthopedic Executives (AAOE), and the Association of Dermatology Administrators/Managers (ADAM).
